Book Review – The Alchemy of Influence by Jon Berghoff

If you haven’t heard of Jon Berghoff, you’ll be glad you have now.  By the age of 18, he was already earning a six-figure income working for CutCo.  Now regardless of how you feel about CutCo as an organization, it becomes instantly clear why this guy was so successful.  and, since his CutCo days, the sky has never been the limit for Jon Berghoff.

I was excited to receive an advance copy of the transcript for his upcoming book The Alchemy of Influence and I’ve got to tell you, this is one of the most powerful, thought-provoking and relevant books on success I’ve ever read.  Jon really has a firm understanding of the psychology of success.

In his book, Jon contends that just as there are chemical formulas that when combined produce the same results each time, there is also a specific formula for achieving success.  And it all starts with learning the art of influence.

But here’s the really unique part.  In most books about influence, the author focuses on teaching the reader how to influence others.  Whereas in Mr. Berghoff’s manuscript, he focuses on both influencing yourself as well as others.  He contends that your own belief system is just as powerful in the equation of success as your ability to influence others.

Don’t get me wrong, he deals amply with the subject of influencing others, but the unique elements of personal development contained in this book are overwhelmingly accurate, effective and relevant.

His strategy is the most profound account of how to achieve success that I’ve ever heard.  If you’re in business, in any capacity, you need this book.

Inside, Jon chronicals his own path to success, revealing his “secret formulas” as well as collaborative stories and information from other leading professionals that have already achieved the upper echelon of success.

But, you’ll have to wait.  His book isn’t scheduled for public release for a couple of months yet.   But, you can preview a few chapters at his website (http://www.alchemyofinfluence.com), which I highly recommend.  Even in the brief preview, you’ll find the information more than rewarding and applicable to your life and your business.
